Apparently Carole doesn't love us anymore.

Michelle said she had to leave early, at 8:30, and Carole exclaimed, "Good!" Michelle shrieked in reply, "'GOOD?!!??'"

Oh course I planned to leave with Michelle because I was put on the bus last week and rather angry about it because Jenna was driving and said she didn’t' mind driving me home but Carole insisted on dropping me off at the bus at 9:00 at night...Michelle was equally outraged.

So upon leaving we were trying to sneak me out as well and Michelle asked if Carole was going to take me home or put me on a bus, and she said, "You take her." Oooooo ouch! Nathan then said, "Don't put Bernice on a buuus!" (The first day of that class Carole accidentally called me Bernice [we have 2 Bernices] and the boys won't let me forget it lol). So anyway, Michelle and I are in a form of outrage that she can't give me a simple ride home, after EVERYTHING I do for her!

P.S. Kristen is about to get a tap dance on her face is she doesn't stop being dumb and stop making SO. MUCH. NOISE. IIIIIII could not hear myself over her ridiculous pounding, and IIIIII was making the right sounds and SHEEEE was NOT, and I could not be 100% sure I was doing it right because I couldn't HEAR myself!

Yesterday, in Tap, Delores and I discussed the amazingness that is Neosporin. And I found out she has 5 children, 16 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren!

I'd like to take a few minutes to tell a short story about tap class last Monday...

It was almost 8 so Michelle, Kristen, and I were done and the boys had arrived.

The boys were sitting on the bench chatting with Michelle and Carole.

Kristen was gathering her things, taking off her shoes and such.

I was...well I don't really remember except I was more toward the middle of the room, most likely in my own little tap world.

So...

Kristen is fumbling with her shoes, and one of them goes Kamikaze FLYING toward Michelle, who luckily stepped out of the way and exclaimed something like, "Well for the love of God!!" with a completely serious expression on her face.

Kristen, of course, was terrified both of Michelle looking evil and of the notion she almost seriously injured someone.

Meanwhile, in the middle of them room, there was me, doubled over in laughter because I know Michelle was being dramatic for effect.

It's even more odd/funny that the conversation continued without interruption as if they felt their conversation was more important than Michelle being decapitated by a tap shoe. Really!

Today I woke up sick. Balls! Sore throat, POUNDING headache, and slight nasal congestion. I made it to work and went to Walgreens for supplies and, after a cup of Theraflu, felt 87% better! I love Theraflu.

Today I had Free Lunch because I dropped my business card in a bowl and won! It was an odd sampling of people: people from work, girl from the office who works for another company we share the space with, coworker's friends, Jason from school, and Jared from old job. It was fun, and I hadn't seen Jared in almost 2 years! Eek! And now he's moving to New York and getting married! Eek!

Speaking of weddings, I went to one last weekend and it was a blast – SO much more fun than I had imagined!! And I guess Travis and I aren't used to us both drinking at a place we need to drive from...so halfway through we realized this and so I stopped drinking because I was the most sober. So after that I realized we're done with wedding until next October...and then this morning I find out my dear friend since high school is engaged AND pregnant! We have been out of touch for 2 years. Hmmm...that's another 2 years I haven't seen a friend. Sad... So...I am still in the shock of that news.

Right now I am enjoying pb&h(oney) sandwiches and watching disc 1 of Roots because I have NEVER seen it!!! Never!!! What is wrong with me?!? I saw Alex Haley's Queen. Oh, and I was all ready to watch Roots but Netflix only JUST made it available! Seriously, Netflix, that is shameful. They didn't have Roots OR Showboat...sadness on Netflix. And really, why is EVERYONE in Roots? It's nuts...in a good way.

I am sick! Boo sick!

In other good news, Travis starts his new job Monday and is VERY excited about it. I am glad he is excited.

Oh, and also last weekend my sister and I tap danced in the living room. I taught her Take Me Out to the Ballgame  and we performed for Mom...it was fantastic!
